openoffice eats up the last hangul charactor with scim_hangul input method in ubuntu 8.04

Openoffice writer eats up the last hangul charactor with scim_hangul input method in ubuntu 8.04.

*** temporary solution ***

open /usr/bin/soffice and add the next line

GTK_IM_MODULE=xim
or
GTK_IM_MODULE=scim-hangul_xim

With this, the bug seems to be removed.
However, the problems which openoffice writer eats up a hangul charactor or changes the position of two hangul charactors abruptly when I typing hangul rapidly are still remain.
